Wimbledon is well underway, with a slew of stylish A-listers attending the event wearing a handful of chic outfits ranging from fab summer dresses to fancy trouser suits. One celeb who isn’t attending this year’s tournament, though, is Dua Lipa. But that doesn’t stop her from paying homage to the event with a look inspired London’s summer mainstay.

“sad 2 miss Wimbledon this year but i’ve been getting in the spirit” she writes on Instagram with a series of snaps showing the singer wearing a pink Y2K-esque set. The two-piece situation consists of a pink halterneck top featuring an embellished silver ʙuттerfly across the centre (2000s fans, eat your heart out). Meanwhile, the matching skirt has delicate pleats – a likely nod to tennis skirts – and a couple of silver trim details around the waist.

In keeping with the sport-y theme, Dua opts for crisp white trainers (with pink detailing, because obvs) and a pair of white socks adorned with a matching silver ʙuттerfly to match the outfit. To say this look is fre$h is an understatement.

Accessories-wise, the whole look is brought together with a chunky silver chain necklace and bracelet. Oh, and a white pearl hair slide.

Naturally, no Wimbledon-inspired pic is complete without some tennis equipment handy, which Dua also has. Can we take a second to talk about the bubblegum pink tennis balls? So cute.

While we’d kinda like to see this look in the spectator stands IRL, it sounds as though Dua is joining many other fans by keeping up with the tournament from afar this year.
